Thomas L. Hoffman, a managing partner in the law firm of Wells, Hoffman, Holloway & Medvesky, was born and raised in Pottstown, Pa. He graduated from Pottstown High School in 1968, from Penn State University, with honors, in 1972, and from Villanova University Law School, cum laude, in 1975. Mr. Hoffman also received the Obert Award from Villanova Law School for his work in Corporate Law. Mr. Hoffman has been a member of the firm since 1975, first as an associate, and since 1981 as a partner.
Mr. Hoffman brings a forthright, caring and family oriented approach to his practice of law. He is experienced in dealing with the many challenges faced by estate and trust administrators and small business owners. He has been advising clients in the areas of estate and trust administration and small business for over 41 years and has acted as executor and trustee on numerous estates and trusts over those years.
Mr. Hoffman lives in the Pottstown area with his wife of 43 years, Kathryn E. (Davis) Hoffman. Kathryn is a graduate of Pottstown High School, Mansfield University and St. Joseph University MBA program. She is currently retired and acting as Treasurer as Trinity Reformed Church.
Mr. Hoffman is active in community and civic organizations and is currently Solicitor for Trinity Reformed Church in Pottstown. He has served on various Boards including President of the Pottstown Bar Association, Board of Directors of North End Swim Club, Treasurer of the St. Pius X Athletic Association, President of the Pottsgrove Wrestling Club and Treasurer for the Group Workcamp Project which was held in Pottstown in 2000 and 2002. He is a member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
Mr. Hoffman is assisted in his practice by his legal assistant, Monica Witman, who has worked alongside him for 32 years and has helped in providing a caring and compassionate environment for all of his clients.
